Virtual Mongolia Forum

Another successful virtual presentation by MEM this time in the UK Pavilion at the Discover Mongolia 2020 International Mining Investors’ Forum.

The 18th annual International Mining Investors' Forum was held on October 30, 2020 at the Shangri-La Hotel Ulaanbaatar. It was this year’s first largest mining event organized face to face since COVID 19.

Saruul Enkhbat, DIT support officer for the British Embassy in Ulaanbaatar said "The Forum was attended by over 400 key representatives from the mining sector. DIT Mongolia participated at this event by having a large UK Pavilion promoting the best of UK mining products and services to the key sector players and local large mining projects. Official distributors of UK Brands such as Cummins, JCB, MMD, AirSeal, FG Wilson, Coltraco, Concrete Canvas, Sonoforte exhibited under the UK Pavilion. We had Catapult Satellites, Turner & Townsend and Mine Environment Management from UK participated virtually the conference and attended our Online Seminar organized in the UK Pavilion for local buyers. Our UK Pavilion was very unique not only in design but also used an advanced UK HYPERVSN 3D holographic technology which provided an immersive experience for the audience."
