Sustainable Minerals Conference

The MEM team will be presenting at this year's Sustainable Minerals Conference today Monday 11th July 2022.


Geoscientist Rhys Savage will kick off with his presentation at 11:00 focussing on the implications of elevated carbon dioxide in mining waste storage facilities, specifically related to kinetic test methods for the assessment of waste geochemical characteristics and AMD prediction.


This work forms part of the ongoing industrial research work have been undertaking with our partners Geochemic Ltd , Cardiff University School of Engineering and Boliden.


Principal Geoscientist Steven Pearce and Senior Environmental Geoscientist Diana Brookshaw's presentation at midday will be looking at the effects of ore processing in tailing properties.
