Hello

I came to mining after serving in the Royal Air Force.  I have over 15 years on ground experience working as an environmental advisor, environmental engineer and senior environmental advisor at both open cut and underground mine sites in Australia.  Before joining MEM as a Senior Closure Consultant, I was working as a Senior Closure Planning advisor leading a team of advisors with responsibilities across six sites, each at different stages of their life cycle. 

With a strong operational focus I have experience across the full range of environmental aspects of mining with a strong knowledge in risk management, EMS, environmental approvals, project management and environmental monitoring. 

As part of my move back to the UK from Australia, I'm in the throws of renovating the family home. In addition, my now adult daughter has encouraged me to put my walking boots back on and I've rediscovered hiking and mountaineering.
