I am Senior Environmental Geoscientist at MEM with 12 years’ experience across environmental consultancy (with emphasis on producing scientific, technical and compliance reports for mining and municipal waste facilities), academic research in geochemistry and geomicrobiology and project management.

 

I provide technical expertise and project management in geochemical, geological and groundwater investigations relating to emissions at mines. My strengths lie in assessing large dataset with the aid of advanced data management techniques (such as power pivot) and 3D modelling software (Leapfrog (Seequent software)). Typical projects have included mine waste characterisation (including use of statistical assessment to manage large datasets), development and evaluation of bespoke kinetic testing programs and review of monitoring data to validate predictions of the performance of mine waste storage facilities. I apply the principles underpinning rigorous research to her investigative projects ensuring data and information is reliable and fit for purpose, and uncertainty is recognized and minimised.
